Eagle eyes

Hot in the heels of the prior post with Brigitte, here is an other picture set, marking the debut of a more intimate and personal style in our collaboration, pushing the boundaries to create evermore steamy boudoir style images.

Boudoir and erotic photos have gone from taboo to much more mainstream, and I’m all for it. While some may perceive them as raunchy, or even the archaic misconception that they’re misogynistic, I can promise you that boudoir & erotic shoots are the furthest thing from “u up ? send nudes” (or whatever the kids say these days 🥸). Can they be sexy and steamy ? Of course. But can they also be beautiful and classy ? Absolutely !

Brigitte is the perfect balance of elegance, fun and professionalism, and is the greatest muse one could ask for. With music playing, champagne flowing, and casual chit-chat between poses, it feels just like playing dress up (or down ...) with your girlfriend on a rainy Sunday afternoon.

If you are eagle-eyed, you might spot the spots ?? what ?? Well for this session I had borrowed a Fuji X-Pro3 with the TTartisan 23mm f 1.4, and it was quite the experience ! I love the retro look, film simulations and the manual focusing was easier than expected. But … there's just one little, teensy-weensy detail, the sensor seems to have missed its cleaning appointment. 😬 I know, I know, should have checked before the shoot … but hey I forgot !

But the X-Pro3 is a cool cat. I was testing it out against my trusty Sony A7III and IV. The smaller size is nice, but that grip or lack off ... not sure, a bit to small and it can feel a bit like like trying to hold onto a bar of soap when things gets steamy.

All in all, a fancy camera worth exploring. I really like trying out a Leica M Range finder, if I can get my hands on one to borrow. Have you had a spin with a Leica camera ? Worth it ? … I’m tempted, but they are just so crazy expensive.

Anyway ... enough bla bla. On to the pictures and is usual ... the raunchy ones, only for all you the gold & premium people !
